It’s been a minute since I’ve been on here, but the end of the year gets pretty hectic. It’s a bad excuse, but I don’t have a better one. My sincerest apologies for my unplanned absenteeism. I’m hoping for a much more consistent showing heading into 2023 and beyond.
The end of the year gets crazy doesn’t it? Depending on what you celebrate, you can be decorating and redecorating the house from the start of fall, to Halloween, to Thanksgiving, to your winter holiday traditions (be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or anything else). That’s a lot of work! Add in holiday travels, gift shopping, cooking, baking, and all of the other fun that comes with this time of year, we could use a break! I hope you find some time to rest!
2023 was a pretty good year for me. I was able to help some people buy their first homes, buy their next homes, and buy their forever homes. I helped a few people sell some properties so they can start the next chapters of their lives.
Among the clients I worked with this year was Donna. She lost her husband almost 10 years ago and decided it was time to downsize to a property that made getting around a little easier. Not an easy decision for her, but she trusted me to help get her into a new living situation that made sense. I’m so honored to be given that kind of trust.
I also got my Rhode Island Real Estate License this year! Within days of getting that license, I was able to help Kara buy her first home! I was so fortunate to be able to meet her and see her get to the finish line.
Friends, family and people I’ve met for the first time put their faith in me, and I can’t be more thankful for them. This industry is such a joy to be a part of.
In uncertain times, I’m proud to add some stability to a stressful situation. If you think that 2023 is your time (or want to find out), I’m here when you’re ready.
Happy New Year! I’ll see you, more frequently, in 2023.
Until next year…
Dave
